Persecution?

David Crowder and Ben and the new guy were kind of having an informal forum at church this morning at UBC. Crowder was quoting some minister who had what I deem to be a rather eloquent way of talking about the following LUDICROUS syllogism.
1. Jesus said that I might be persecuted for doing his work
2. I am being persecuted
3. I must be being persecuted for doing good

The quote goes something like this: "You're being persecuted? It might be because you're being a jackass. Stop being a jackass, then see if you're still being persecuted."
Now I certainly don't mean to make an axiom out of the fact that if you are being persecuted, you are not doing what is right and Godly. I'm just saying that simply because you are being persecuted does not mean you are not in error. Peace, love, and college football is coming soon.

Good point re: persecution, Carsonius.

I expect a full report of the weekend's festivities come Monday, at the latest, with a couple pictures included, and preferably one of the one's that Army wanted you to post the other week. You know, of him 'jamming'. Blor out relevant areas, please.

Rock out, dudes.
